The Arcs, Mariachi Flor de Toloache
We get the impression The Arcs is a bit of an experiment for Dan Auerbach. Auerbach — you might have heard of his other band, The Black Keys — gives his musical muscles a bit of a stretch with this outfit, featuring a handful of session players who also share songwriting credit. It’s a fuller sound than the Keys and a bit more fun at times, too. Auerbach’s just using all that experience from producing some of music’s top artists. (Jeff Hahne)
