The Bantu Experience
This is a special edition of our AfroPop! Charlotte series that highlights elements we touch on monthly with more detail. The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture uniquely allows us to elevate an already amazing experience to the next level! Here are a few activities going on through the evening:
* African Pop-Up shop from 6pm - 1am featuring 20 amazing vendors.
* Various pop-up fashion shows during the shopping experience.
* Pop-up artist showcase & gallery featuring local artist.
* African Dance & Drumming classes each hour.
* Kizomba Dance Room + Instruction ft. DJ Alex (DMV)!
* Unique art & craft class for kids earlier in the evening.
* After-party (9:30pm - 1:30am) featuring sound design by The Dynamic DJ Kato + DJ Steel Wheel on the rooftop patio overlooking the center city!
