The Birth of Freedom CL Recommends

When: Sun., Dec. 17, 6-8 p.m. 2017
Price: Free.

Prison abolitionist organization the Exodus Foundation will host this event, pegged as "A Christmas story about mass incarceration and hope," with aims to show love to the victims of mass incarceration while moving toward the foundation’s end goal of ending the flow of African-Americans to prison. Learn about the cause while listening to jazz pianist Luther Samuel Allison and hearing from restorative justice advocates Ron Roseboro and Dr. Madeline McClenney. Donations are welcome, with no amount too small.
