On Q presents this Lydia Diamond adaptation of acclaimed author Toni Morrison’s debut novel. Set in 1940s Ohio, it tracks a young black girl’s struggles to find comfort in her own skin and in the world. Pecola Breedlove, 11, prays for blue eyes so she can make a name for herself and have equal rights in a racist landscape.
