Two jazz musicians live in Paris where, unlike the US at the time, are celebrated and racism is a non-issue. They fall in love with two American girls and must decide whether they should move back to the US with them, or stay in Paris for the freedom it allows.
A film series specifically designed as a vehicle to expose the community to the vast artistic value black film has had throughout the years. The goal is to appeal to as diverse a population as possible and further the appreciation of Black cinema.
