The Gaza Monologues: From Gaza to the United Nations with Iman Aoun

Iman Aoun is the artistic director and co-founder of Ashtar Theatre, the first theatre conservatoire in Palestine. Aoun's work promotes cultural awareness and artistic values in the Palestinian context. The Gaza Monologues voices the individual experiences, dreams, fears and hopes of the youth in Gaza, who lived during the Gaza War from December 2008 to January 2009. Held in Davidson College's Visual Arts Center (VAC-117, Semans Lecture Hall).
