It’s uncertain whether or not William Shakespeare would laugh or turn over in his grave in response to the theatrics of The Improvised Shakespeare Company. Regardless, the troupe — founded in Chicago back in 2005 — has made a name for itself among today’s generation, touring nationally as a result. Everything is improvised and draws off of Shakespearean masterpieces, themes and language, but with a modern, silly twist. (Anita Overcash)
