Jazz Arts Initiative continues Season 8 of its Jazz Room Series on Friday and Saturday 1/20 & 1/21 with flutist Kent Jordon playing the music of jazz legend Herbert Laws and accompanied by a special string section. On Friday there are 2 shows at 6:00pm and 8:15pm; on Saturday, there are 2 shows at 7:00pm and 9:15pm. Limited tickets can be purchased at www.carolinatix.org or by calling 704-372-1000. Cost is $14 in advance / $16 at the door (if available).
