Based on the hate crime committed against Matthew Shepard, an openly gay college student who was murdered in Wyoming, The Laramie Project is the result of more than 200 interviews conducted by Moises Kaufman's Tectonic Theatre Project with the people of Laramie. The production is entirely student directed, designed and produced.
