The documentary focuses on the Newport Folk Festival and its impact on the world of folk music. Produced by Beverly Penninger and Alyson Young of Naka Productions, Inc., a Q.C.-based video production company, this flick features live footage from '60s concerts and interviews with musicians such as Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, Judy Collins, The Indigo Girls, Peter Yarrow, Theo Bikel and Bernice Johnson Reagon. After the screening, there will be live music from Carolina Gator Gumbo and a Q&A with filmmakers and Bob Jones, producer emeritus of the NFF.
