CPCC Opera Theatre presents two, one-hour operas by the 20th century Italian-American composer and librettist, Gian Carlo Menotti. A two-time Pulitzer Prize recipient, Menotti’s lyrical and probing scores from The Medium and The Old Maid and the Thief depict powerful women and their influence, often negative, on the lives of others.
