Some friendships are tranquil and lifelong, while others are turbulent and short-lived. But true friends are there for you when you need them the most and that's a concept Donna Scott Productions -- creator of both The Body Chronicles and The Fairy Tale Chronicles -- hopes to capture with its premiere production of The Dixie Swim Club at Theatre Charlotte on June 10. Written by North Carolina playwrights, Nicholas Hope, Jessie Jones and Jamie Wooten, this play follows five college friends on their yearly beach trip to the Outer Banks.
