Time Collectors
Artists Amy Hart and Emily T. Andress have created works that place an emphasis on nostalgia. For Hart this feeling is awakened through found objects that she rearranges to form structures that resemble animals. Andress, on the other hand, paints a compelling series of portraits based off of old photos. She uses thick brush strokes and blotted colors to form distinctive facial features. Reception on June 6, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
