Unity Fall Fest: Gandhi Celebration
Not only did he bring India to independence, but Gandhi inspired global admiration for his nonviolent civil rights movement. His determination in the face of oppression has influenced changes to human rights as we know it. This festival honors his legacy with a candlelight vigil. There will also be a keynote speaker to talk about the importance of peace, exhibits, cultural displays, food, activities for children and more. (Anita Overcash)
