In conjunction with its WWI series, the movie Wings, winner of the first Academy Award for Motion Pictures will be shown in the Francis Auditorium. Known for the first use of aviation stunts, Wings is a story of love, friendship and war. It stars Clara Bow & Buddy Rogers. (it introduces Gary Cooper.) Ethan Uslan will play the original filmscore. This movie is sponsored by the Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room, The Charlotte Museum of History, and the University of North Carolina Charlotte.
