I found some more Andy Warhol weirdness on YouTube. This clip is a Japanese TV commercial for TDK. Be sure to catch a documentary about his life tonight at the Main Library. Anyway, here's the clip:
This show makes me hungry. Have a taste:
The Josh Phillips Folk Festival (that's a band) plays the Neighborhood Theatre tonight. But before you check them out live, view them on your handy-dandy computer screen:
OK, I was on YouTube searching for some music and I came across a slew of video clips revolving around one song: some track called (I think) "She Rode Dat Dick."
WTF? OK, I never heard this song, but apparently it was popular, like, last year. Check out the eerily similar clips I found that were created in honor of the tune:
Gov. Sarah Palin is talking again. And sounding dumber and more delusional than ever. This time, she's blabbing for an upcoming documentary called Media Malpractice. Check out the wackness:
Next Monday (Jan. 12), the Main Library will present the first of a two-part documentary about Andy Warhol. It should be interesting because I consider the dude pretty bizarre/crazy as well as talented.
Whenever Ovation runs that movie I Shot Andy Warhol, I always tune in. And I rent those crazy Warhol movies he made in his Factory days at Vis Art.
Anyway ... all that to say, I'm in a Warhol-ish mood so I found this video of him eating a hamburger on YouTube. Yeah, it's just him eating a hamburger. Check it out:
With people losing jobs left and right, a big purchase might not seem like a good idea. What if you buy a brand-new car, then end up losing your job and rendered unable to make the payments?
Well, with Hyundai's new return policy, you don't have to worry about that.
In a bid to woo skittish consumers, the South Korea-based automaker will cover the depreciation on any returned leased or financed vehicle for the first 12 months to those who find themselves unable to make their car payments. The "Hyundai Assurance Program" only applies to customers stricken by misfortune outside of their control, such as losing their job, becoming disabled or losing their driver's license for medical reasons.
How refreshing. An automaker that cares about its customers.
Hyundai of Charlotte is located at 8525 South Blvd.
