  1. This over-priced unauthentic Mexican restaurant is no doubt hoping you’ll down enough of their $1.oo margaritas so that you’ll overlook the fact you’ll drop $13.50 for a beef burrito.

  2. This place is messed up. The owner is a hot head and will fire people at will. The menu IS overpriced and the manager’s do not know what they are doing, they rely on the servers and they fall at the feet of the owner. The management and owner need to get their head in line.

  3. The only thing they brought from Manzetti’s is the noise. Lighting was awful, completely off over bar (save that tactic for 95 degree days). Had a burger that was too lean to be moist. No point having Mama’s chicken without the pasta that Manzetti’s had. I never visit Charlotte’s real latino areas to eat, but Chili’s (haven’t eaten there in 10-15 years) would make me happier than this place. CentraArchy Group must be run by idiots, I will only eat at California Dreamin’ if I’m on the road. Won’t try any of the other SW style clones at the beach after seeing this.

  4. I love this place~was a big fan of Manzetti’s and was dissaponited when they closed, but I have really enjoyed the menu and of course, the $1.00 Margaritas!! There are some items that look like Manzetti’s and they have the great fries! We will be back soon!

  5. The margaritas and the chips and salsa are great! We had the BBQ Nachos and they were wonderful!

  6. Dined @ San Antonio’s this evening and is was utterly dissapointing. The food was blandoverpriced, and the waiter had zero personality. I wish I would not have wasted my $$$ on this and had La Paz or even On the Border instead. Will NOT be a return guest.

  7. I would never go to a place like this anyway, but it’s funny seeing the South Charlotte yuppies comment on Mexican food, when they admit they’ve never eaten traditional Mexican in Charlotte’s “ethnic” areas. Come on man, California Dreamin’, really? And I’ve got reservations for Chili’s on Wednesday, night, which is a good idea, because they get pretty busy.

  8. The radio advertising made this new Tex/Mex restaurant/bar in Charlotte sound great and I was excited to go there. I have tried it twice. It is AWFUL. The food is way over-priced, has NO FLAVOR, no spice, and nothing fresh about it! Including the handmade guacamole – BLAND! The $1 margaritas (of course) have absolutely NO alcohol in them, so I tried the $6 “house margarita” and it tasted exactly the same! We ordered a $30! “flight” of three different shots of Patron tequila, and even the lime wedges that were served on the sides of the shot glasses were old, dried out and had brown spots on them – $30 DOLLARS! This place is a total fraud and hopefully it will close down soon before they rip off more unsuspecting customers!

  9. I should have listened to the reviews. The only good thing about this restaurant is during the month of May everything on the menu is $5.00. The service was horrible, slow, forgetful, and some of the meals were incorrect or missing items. The food was mediocre, my dad got the tequila chicken which was the only thing that was worth it. Tableside guacamole was new to me but was not that good. The sangria was so so, both the red and the white tasted the same.
The only time the waiter smiled was when he delivered the check! We will not be going back to this restaurant, we should have just went to Zappatta’s like originally planned :-/
