Here We Grow Again!

Posted By on Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 10:25 AM

Here We Grow Again, a children's consignment boutique, has been open since May 2008. Even though the shop has been open for less than a year, it is bursting with clothing and accessories for infants, toddlers and teens. Here We Grow Again also carries maternity clothing and women's accessories.

If you are in search of items other than clothes, the store has a large selection of toys, children's furniture and equipment.

The concept of a consignment store for children and girls of all ages is a product of stay-at-home moms Daphne Cook and Allison Gommo's desire to balance work with kids.

"We wanted something of our own," Gommo said. "We can make our own hours, and even bring our kids."

Bringing your children with you to shop at Here We Grow Again certainly wont be a problem; it features a playroom stocked with toys to keep them occupied. Gommo and Cook have also made plans to do monthly events for kids (free of charge!) that include parties and a clown.

"Sometimes the kids don't want to leave the store!" Gommo said. "I've even had parents say they were driving by and their kids made them turn around and come in."

The fun atmosphere may be great for kids, but the sales at Here We Grow Again are great for the shoppers. Currently, there is a 1/2 off sale on all winter items and toys. Wednesdays are for grandparents, who receive 10 percent off their purchases and on Fridays anyone who consigns with the store gets 10 percent off.

If you are looking to consign clothing or toys with Here We Grow Again, you can call anytime to set up an appointment. Furniture and equipment can be brought over to the store for the owners to take a look without an appointment. Here We Grow Again will hold your items for 90 days and provides stylish hangers for the clothing items.
