Culture Initiative's latest art party was themed around the canned brew, Pabst Blue Ribbon. The show featured artwork from local and regional artists - Beast Syndicate, Scott Whiteside, Kat Sweet, Scott Partridge, Nic Rummel, Joel Andrew Tracey and more - and PBR-can exclusive works from Sean Kernick, Scott Whiteside and William Denton Ray. The Rippin Art Show at Black Sheep Skate Shop opened with a reception on Friday night. The exhibit features drawings and screen prints by Philly-based illustrator Thom Lessner. It's National Poetry Month, so poet and Pedestal Magazine founder John Amen and the folks at Carolina Actors Studio Theatre have teamed up for Salon Sundays.
