Nolia restaurante

Nolia restaurant located in Elizabeth had their grand opening party last night. The event featured art pieces done by local artists, a silent auction, and great food. The restaurant, housed in a cute house, has eating areas downstairs, outside, and upstairs. My favorite part is the sunroom-esque area surrounded by windows, a fireplace, and wood floors. The chef was seen out mingling amongst the guests. People enjoyed themselves drinking Nolia's berry-infused martinis, Chimay beer and wine, and nibbling on shrimp and grits, hummus, smoked salmon and couscous. The seafood cheese fondue on toasted baguette rounds was to die for. Although many say the restaurant location is cursed (many restaurants there haven't survived), I hope Nolia does well.
