Posted By on Wed, Nov 19, 2008 at 11:11 AM

This protest comes from the students at Wake Forest University:

AMERICA PROTESTS THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKING SYSTEM  CHARLOTTE, NC, NOVEMBER 22, 2008:

Groups and individuals alike  will gather in 39 cities across the U.S. on Saturday, November  22, 2008 to protest at all branches of the Federal Reserve Bank.  Participating groups are calling for an end to the Federal  Reserve banking system by returning to sound money and competing  currencies. The better part of the protest and rally will last  from noon to 4 p.m.

The Charlotte protest is expecting a possible triple digit  turnout this year according to Pat Armstrong, coordinator for  the “North Carolina Special Projects” MeetUp group. The presence  at the Charlotte branch will be notable with groups from all  across the South. The protest and rally is coordinated  nationwide from the www.endthefed.us web site that was created  as a result from the production of Aaron Russo’s film Freedom to  Fascism and Ron Paul’s 2008 bid for the office of President.
