World AIDS Day

Posted By on Mon, Dec 1, 2008 at 11:41 AM

At noon, Regional AIDS Interfaith Network and other advocacy and treatment groups will be reading a list of names of those who have died, as well as honor those living with the disease. The reading is at the corner of Trade and Tryon streets.

On Saturday, teenagers from the Metrolina AIDS Project Youth Speakers Bureau are scheduled to talk about experiences with HIV and how the virus has affected their lives. Find out more about that forum here.
