The N Word / News Caroline and the city

Caroline Kennedy bowed out of the "race" for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's vacated Senate seat for "personal reasons." Perhaps it is because people have tired of handing people things because of their lineage? One thing that W. taught us is that sometimes the apple falls far from the tree. Some say it was sexism that folks rebelled against her "candidacy." I say it was just. When you don't vote or participate in the political process that you supposedly abhor, don't expect to inherit one of the most powerful Senate seats in the land.
