Grist.org made a list of their top 13 bad ass environmentalists that includes former East L.A. gang members, a punk chef and the wind farm mafia.
But, the number one pick is someone Charlotteans are sure to love. Who is it? Well, you'll have to see for yourself. One hint: race car.
