AP news headline: "Obama, McCain break ice in Oval Office meeting."
Here's the first paragraph:
Now, more than two years after clashing as campaign rivals, President Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain are putting their relationship on defrost and searching for some common ground.
So what?
Are we going to get a damn news update every time Sen. John McCain and Obama smile at each other? Really?
McCain lost. He lost, OK? I know it was a difficult some of us to accept, but the election was over a couple years ago. It's time to mend your wounds, lift your chin and accept reality.
And, let's be honest with ourselves, for the last few months of McCain's most recent presidential campaign he was on the Palin ticket anyway.
