Former CL editor Carlton Hargro hosts 282

Posted By on Tue, Dec 6, 2011 at 11:11 AM

Carlton Hargro has been busy. The former Creative Loafing editor is the host of a new "news roundup" show on WTVI. It's called "282," and he invited me to be a part of the inaugural panel along with The Charlotte Observer's Mark Washburn and nightlife aficionado Larken Egleston.

We discussed Occupy Charlotte, Chiquita Bananas and NBA basketball.

Hargro describes the show as being "in beta," and asked viewers to submit comments on how to make it better. The first four episodes will be online-only. After that, the filming of the shows will be live-streamed online and will also air on television.

Check out the first episode here, and get some background on the show from CLTBlog.com.
