A repeat winner. Elizabeth Billiards is a Plaza Midwood favorite and beloved home to many regulars. It's a little grimy and the acoustics require yelling to communicate, but it's the quintessential pool hall, embodying everything that's to be adored about a local dive bar. The pool is free, the beer comes in bottles and it's a reliable community staple. Aside from the occasional rogue dart or hustler, the atmosphere is relaxed and agreeable.
