I'm sorry ... I'm just not that hip on the country music scene. I've heard of Darius Rucker and Kellie Pickler ... not so much Rodney Atkins or Jason Michael Carroll.

Anyway, they're going to be in concert tonight at Coyote Joe's. Here's the press release.

CHARLOTTE, NC –  WKKT-FM 96.9 The Kat’s Concert for Hope features Grammy Award winners Darius Rucker and Lee Ann Womack plus Academy Country Music Award winner Rodney Atkins and two Carolinians in Jason Michael Carroll and Albemarle’s own Kellie Pickler Tuesday, March, 2nd at Coyote Joes!

Morning Show host Paul Schadt wagered his audience during this year’s two-day radiothon that they could not raise $200,000 this year for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. If they did Paul would shave his mustache! The 96.9 audience raised $200,487!

At 9pm tomorrow night before The Concert of Hope begins Paul Schadt will honor his bet and Kellie Pickler will have the distinction of shaving his mustache. Paul has had his mustache for over 25 years!

“If I was going to shave my mustache I’m glad it was for St. Jude’s” said Paul Schadt “and I couldn’t think of anybody I would want to shave off besides Kellie Pickler.”

St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital based in Memphis, Tenn., is the only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Locally WKKT-FM 96.9 The Kat has raised over 3 million dollars in their 21-year partnership with St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital
