Some will say print media is dying out, with more and more people consuming their news and stories via Internet. But what if you could consume journalism in a real-life medium, where the stories are right in front of you to breathe and touch. Sounds almost futuresque, doesn’t it? Actually, if you attend Type/Face: A Live Magazine tonight at the Visulite Theatre, you’ll experience just that. Charlotte Viewpoint and Charlotte Magazine will bring the content of their pages to life on stage in the form of 3-D essays, videos, interviews and more, touching on subjects ranging from food to Marvel comics. If this doesn’t convince you that journalism is truly a form of art, I don’t know what else will. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit http://typefacelivemag.eventbrite.com. $7-$10. Doors open at 7 p.m. Visulite Theatre, 1615 Elizabeth Ave.
