Shopping for Labels, Shopping for Love " Shopping for Charlottes economy? Fashions Night Out, a global initiative started by Vogue New York in 2009, is hitting Charlotte Sept. 9 in a big way. The idea, launched as a global initiative, aims to promote retail, celebrate fashion, and re-establish confidence in todays economy. This year, the event is returning to NYC and a number of cities worldwide, including our very own, Queen City. Charlottes own, Effie Loukas, stylist extraordinaire and owner of Lotus Boutique, has organized Charlottes encore appearance of Fashions Night Out with the help of 14 boutiques, salons and makeup artists. Come be a part of one of the most exciting additions to Charlottes fashion scene, which will be held tonight at Butter NC.
While the rest of the city rests up Monday from partying Sunday night, I'll be happily not hungover (hopefully) on an airplane to the Caribbean to start my vacation. Woo hoo!
