It's going to be a 'Glee-ful Celebration' at final Gay Bingo

Posted By on Thu, Oct 21, 2010 at 1:08 PM

Gay Bingo is one of the biggest events to take place each year, chockfull of outrageous costumes, song and dance numbers and of course, BINGO, with proceeds benefiting RAIN (Regional AIDS Interfaith Network). Shelita Hamm and the BVDs have rocked this event for 10 years. But sad news: this year's event will be the final one.

Appropriately enough, the crazy folks behind Gay Bingo are going out with a bang. The theme is "A Glee-Ful Celebration," and organizers are promising it to be one hell of a night. Oh, correction: This year's Gay Bingo will be held on two nights, Nov. 12 and 13, for double the fun.

Gay Bingo will be held at the Grady Cole Center, located at 310 North Kings Drive. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and games start promptly at 7:30 PM.

Tickets are $30.

Here's a taste of what you can expect.

And if that's not enough, here's a clip from Carolina Traveler.
