Hard News So-called parents charged with trading daughter for mini van

In a story that can only be described as sick and disgusting, three people in Eastman, Ga. are facing charges after "parents" made payments on a 1998 mini van with their daughter's body. Yes.
Sex in lieu of a payment on a vehicle that is actually considered a clunker. Gross, sad and tragic for the 14-year-old victim in this case.
Dodge sheriff’s investigators say the girl’s parents made her do “sexual favors” for the manager of Shorty’s Used Cars in Eastman so they wouldn’t have to make the $281 payment on the 1998 Dodge Caravan they bought two years ago.
So, the message here is that your child's worth is the price of that van? The Dodge County Sheriff captain says it best:
“It makes me personally sick to my stomach,” Dodge sheriff’s Capt. Tony Winborn said Tuesday. “The only thing I can tell you is there were drugs involved in this family and it was some very sick, perverted stuff going on amongst the entire family. ... Rhyme or reason, I couldn’t tell you.”
