Is it that hard in the Q.C.? A tale of a criminal living off women

A good man is hard to find, the old saying goes. But damn, there has to be more than this out there for the single ladies of the Queen City. According to WCNC's Fugitive Files, when Shannon Lawrence isn't allegedly beating women, he's hiding with them to avoid the police.

He's what Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said Romeo did to one of his girlfriends:

They say he was with a girlfriend, hit her, then stole her minivan and left it at a motel off of Sugar Creek Road.

“He’ll hang out with different prostitutes at this hotel or develop different girlfriends as he moves around the city. That's who we anticipate he’s with,” says Winterhalter.

What a freaking sweetheart. Ladies, avoid this man (and those like him — abusive, crazy, deranged and the like). Police say he's easy to spot with tattoos that pretty much seem to sum up his character " "hated by many, loved by few."
