Art Strokes Out Cancer
– Joedance Film Festival and Gallery South End are teaming to host the inaugural “Art Strokes Out Cancer,” Thurs., Sept. 17, 6-9 p.m., at the Gallery at 1320 S. Church Street. The Gallery South End will donate 30 percent of all sales of co-owner William Antonio’s paintings and proceeds from bar sales to Joedance, a 501c3 that raises money for local pediatric cancer research at Carolinas Healthcare System’s Levine Children’s Hospital.
