Staff Pick

Born and raised in Alabama, Gerald Wallace is now considered by Charlotte to be one of its own. Spending six full NBA seasons with the Bobcats, the lean small forward has helped raise his team out of the league cellar and into prominence in the Eastern Conference and a first-ever playoff berth. In the ’09-’10 season, he led the team in rebounds, was second in scoring and may have led the league in falling all over the place scrapping for the ball. They don’t call him “Crash” for nothing.
