My Sister’s House can’t simply be called a homeless shelter. At the west Charlotte facility for single women, lives are being rebuilt. The women who reside there learn computer skills, attend college and get to the root of the problem that caused them to be homeless. With 26 beds and accommodations for 15 overnight guests, My Sister’s House provides more than a hot meal and a pat on the head.
