At a time when most local FM radio stations have abandoned covering local news, it’s nice to have a reporter like WFAE’s Lisa Miller on the job. Listeners don’t exactly know when Miller will appear on air (usually between episodes of nationally targeted NPR shows), but whenever she steps to the microphone, you’re sure to be eloquently informed by interesting tales of life and death in the Queen City.
