Bizarre crimes from Charlotte police files

This Isn't Spring Break: A man tried to recreate a "Girls Gone Wild" moment by throwing a bucket of water on a female acquaintance. The woman got pissed and called the cops. She plans to put a restraining order on the man because he keeps harassing her.

That ain't love: A 41-year-old woman and her boyfriend got into an argument at their home. The man took the lovers' quarrel from a little crazy to clinically insane when he tried to choke the woman and threatened to pour gas on her.

Sly Thief: A teller at a Bank of America branch said a customer came through the drive-thru and asked for change for a $100 bill. When she gave the customer change, he held up a $50 bill and a $5 bill indicating to her that she didn't give him the correct amount. She then sent out another $50 bill in exchange for the $5 bill. At the end of the day, her drawer was short $45 and she was mad as hell that she was tricked by the man.

Feuding Roomies: A 32-year-old man and his roommate got into an argument. The roommate grabbed the man by the hand. When the man tried to pull his hand away, he fell down a flight of stairs. The two were arguing because they weren't getting along and their roommate situation wasn't working out.

Cat Killer: A 31-year-old man said his former friend threatened his pets. The two were in the middle of an argument when the former friend said, "I'll poison those cats." The man believes his ex-friend will try to carry out the threat.

Pervy Caller: A 49-year-old woman said a man called her while she was at work and made obscene and lewd remarks about what he wanted to do to her. She said she has no idea who the man was.

Threat of the Week: A 45-year-old woman said she got into an argument with a male friend. He said, "I'll kill you, bitch!" The man then picked up a brick and threatened the woman again. The woman ran into her house and called police. When the police arrived the man continued his threats saying, "Look how long it took the police to get here! I could have been done killed you."
