What started off as a simple trio, is quickly developing into one of the city’s finest Americana acts. Dust & Ashes — Heather Himes, Alea Tuttle, Tiffany Goodman, Jude Salinas and Leah Erin Smith — know when to use their harmonies without overdoing it. There’s something to be said for starting small and building up the band instead of getting five cooks in the kitchen from the start. Dust & Ashes continues to improve each step of the way.
