A Devil's Dance Just in time for Halloween, Moving Poets opens their 7th season with the bewitching tale of a wager between God and the Devil over a man's soul. Based on Goethe's Faust, the story has captivated audiences for centuries with its themes of desire, temptation, sacrifice, and ultimately redemption. Oct 23 - Nov 1. Giselle Giselle is a story of deep and never faltering love between a peasant girl and a prince. The Nutcracker NCDT's own Salvatore Aiello choreographed this traditional family classic to Tschaikovsky's beloved score. Satirical 6/15 Moving Poets 4th annual festival for innovative performing arts is now a tradition for lovers of the avant-garde. The evening features six collaborative 15-minute multi-media world premieres by an eclectic mix of local and national dancers, actors, visual artists, videographers and musicians. Summer Harvest Purple Sage is created to Douglas Lofstrom's The Survivor's Symphony. The work progresses through the stages of loss and culminates with a joyful acceptance.
