Janet Biggs makes videos, video installations and performance works that address numerous issues, including athletic obsession and perfection, danger and gender roles. She will talk about her work in conjunction with the exhibition VantagePoint IX — Janet Biggs: Going to Extremes, at the Mint Museum Uptown. The exhibition includes "Duet," a work about NASCAR commissioned by the museum, and "Vanishing Point" (pictured).
