Me, Myself & I Fest f. Travis Phillips, Human Pippi, Your Fuzzy Friends, Luciferian Agenda, Canalvision, Replichrist
There’s something exciting about the drama of one person, alone on a stage, working to entertain an entire crowd with no one else to lean on. The Me, Myself & I Fest will be an entire night of that, featuring six one-man bands. The hillbilly folk-punk of the Luciferian Agenda and a rare solo show by indie-rock Modern Primitives’ frontman Travis Phillips join a lineup that includes the excitable but still gritty electro-pop of both Human Pippi and Your Fuzzy Friends. Each band creates an interesting spectacle, Human Pippi for its simplicity — although he does a good bit of thrashing behind that keyboard — and Your Fuzzy Friends for its prop-heavy splendor of puppets, costumes and inflatable lawn decorations.
