Modern Poverty: An Introspective Art Show

Queens University Honors student Bree Stallings hosting her thesis project as an art show based on the disparaging and often unseen effects of poverty in modern America and third-world countries alike. She will be presenting her newest series of multi-media work entitled "Foreclosed But Not Forever". Local and international artists, designers, and poets will come together for this opportunity to discuss the effects of poverty on the lives we see.
Proceeds from art sold go to benefit art-community schools and an AIDS orphanage in Khayelitsha, a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa.
