PHOTO WILD! A two-day raptor photo shoot for amateurs and professionals. The morning starts with an "early-bird" breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by six, 30-minute photo sessions with each bird. After the three-hour shoot, folks can spend the final hour of each day photographing flight show raptor superstars. This year's raptor photo shoot features a two-day pass, which gives folks a chance to photograph different birds in different settings each day. SPRING SLALOM RACES Race is for anyone who wants to participate with a slalom boat or recreational boat. Classes include men's kayak, women's kayak, men's C1, women's C1, and C2. MINT MUSEUM RANDOLPH The Art of Affluence: Haute Couture and Luxury Fashions. This exhibition features custom-fitted luxury garments from the top designers of the late-20th and early-21st centuries. Continues through June 30. Chinese Court Robes: The Mint Museum Collection. In 1644, the Manchu-Qing nomads took control over China and imposed dress codes for their ruling imperial family to distinguish these individuals from the general citizenry. A hierarchy of color and decoration distinguished the rank of the wearers. Continues through Dec. 31. The Golden Age of English Art. The 18th century witnessed the "Golden Age of English Art" in which artists explored the variety and abundance of the times. Portraiture ranked high, but no aspect of English life was exempt from the artist's eye, which recorded the triumphs and changes in society. Continues through Dec. 31. The Heights of Fashion: Platform Shoes Then and Now. The exhibition showcases an array of diverse and unique platform shoes from the 1930s through the present. Continues through May 30. The Transformed Self: Performance Masks of Mexico. The works presented in this exhibition come from the primary mask-producing regions of Mexico where dance performances commonly accompany religious rituals and civic events. THE LIGHT FACTORY The Romance of the Road: Photographs in Search of the Promised Land.
