Roadtrip

Thursday, November 29

In writer/director Christine Swanson's new movie All About Us, Boris Kodjoe is a man on a mission. Edward Brown (Kodjoe's character) and his wife Stacey Brown (played by Ryan Michelle Bathé) want superstar Morgan Freeman to star in their next movie. One small problem -- he's kinda indisposed in Mississippi. Faith Filmworks will bring this release to Charlotte for a red carpet premiere, including a private, post-screening wine and dessert reception with cast members, Swanson, and producer Michael Swanson. Proceeds benefit the Florence Crittenton Services of Charlotte. 6:30 p.m. GA: $100/VIP: $200 (includes reception). Ballantyne Village Theater, 14815 John J. Delaney Dr. 704-372-4663 x403. www.fcsnc.org.
