SPORTS: 5th Annual Murphy's Dirty 30 Mud Volleyball Tournament

Sunday, June 5

Every year, more and more teams come together to compete in Murphy's Dirty 30 Mud Volleyball Tournament, a volleyball tournie that takes place in mud and raises money for Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte — an organization that services the community by building affordable homes for those in need. This year's number of participating teams is estimated at around 100 with 12 mud pits, which leads me to conclude: Charlotteans like getting dirty. Those up for the challenge can wallow on over to Metrolina Tradeshow Expo for the sporty mess. For more information and registration, visit Metrolina Tradeshow Expo, 7100 Statesville Road.
