May 26 Coca-Cola 600 - Country music legend George Jones will perform his Vietnam War tribute song "50,000 Names" as part of the patriotic Memorial Day pre-race show. Pre-race music starts at 5pm and race starts at 5:30pm. Tickets range from $112-$5.

Through June 2 Community of Faiths: The Spiritual and Religious Heritage of the Carolinas Piedmont. Exhibit explores the impact of religion, faith-based institutions, and spiritual traditions on the region from early Native American villages to present; includes gallery depicting the live, career, and worldwide influence of Charlotte native son Billy Graham.
Through July 14 Raising the Roof: Barns of Our State. Photographic collaboration between the Museum and Our State: North Carolina magazine exploring a vanishing icon of the rural and agricultural South, the old wooden barn. Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 1-5pm. Admission is $2 for kids 6-12, $4 for seniors and students, and $6 for adults.
