The Americana

Do you love all things North Carolina, including wine, honey, pottery and music? So do Rich Walker, Carl White and the rest of the folks at The Americana, a new dining and entertainment venue that will open Oct. 4. For food, Chef Curtis Wriggle promises American comfort food with a little twist, including Grandpa's Smokehouse Meatloaf, which is smoked in-house. You can't miss the entertainment -- local and regional acts from bluegrass to country-western music -- especially with monitors everywhere, including the bathrooms. And if you've ever wanted to be a part of a live studio audience, The Americana, with its full production and recording facilities, will film two regular TV shows each week.
