HIT AND RUN: A 34-year-old man said he was walking on the sidewalk in front of the parking deck of the Transamerica Building, located at 100 W. 7th St., when a vehicle that was exiting the deck hit him. He said he wasn't knocked to the ground, but the car hit him on the arm, causing pain. He said the driver paused, looked at him and then drove away.
BOYZ IN THE HOOD: A 16-year-old boy said he was sitting on a picnic table at a park on Kendall Drive when he was approached by a male teenager. He said the teen started an argument with him because he doesn't live in the neighborhood. The teen punched the boy in the right eye then took off running.
A MAN'S BEST FRIEND: A 26-year-old man said he and one of his friends got in an argument. The argument became heated, and the man said his friend hit him in the face with his fist. The man said his friends two dogs jumped into the fight and also attacked him. He had to be hospitalized for multiple bite wounds caused by the dogs.
DEADLY CREDITOR: A police officer said he arrived to the 3000 block of Sharon Amity Road in response to a communicating threat report. Once on the scene, he spoke with a 26-year-old woman who said a man called her and said he would kill her husband if he didn't finish paying for a vehicle he purchased. The woman did not know the man and her husband was not home at the time to identify the caller.
SMOKING GUN: A 22-year-old man was handling a gun when it accidently went off. To his horror the bullet went through his left hand. He had to be taken to the hospital to have the wounds treated.
STEALING CHRISTMAS JOY: A 66-year-old man decorated a Christmas tree and placed it in his front yard. A few days later someone stole it.
HANNIBAL LECTER: A 23-year-old woman said her friend got upset with her and started an argument. Her friend got so mad that she bit her on the right forearm and kicked her repeatedly in the ass. The woman sustained visible injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.
