Holmes Brothers are a long-running blues combo mixing the raucous energy of a roadside blues dive with the arms-raised joy of a gospel sing-along. Their new recording, State of Grace, continues the long tradition of blending secular and sacred lyrics that are loaded with veteran musicianship and passion. 9 p.m. $14-$16.   • On Saturday, Oct. 21, hundreds gathered at Camp North End on Statesville Avenue for Charlotte's first black alternative music festival. We captured some of the bands in action on stage, but mostly we surveyed the grounds as fans, families, vendors and more lounged around the sprawling, colorful Camp North End site.
